Ombudsman Program

The Ombudsman Program of the Area Agency on Aging of East Texas functions under the rules of the Texas State Ombudsman Program, and specific state and Federal laws. The purpose of the program is to provide advocacy for quality of life and quality of care for residents in long-term care settings such as nursing home, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
