East Texas Community Living Network

The Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities has awarded a grant to the East Texas Aging and Disability Resource Center to develop strategic plans to improve community-based services for people with disabilities and their families in East Texas. The programs service area is Bowie, Cass, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Panola, Red River, Rusk and Upshur counties. The East Texas Aging and Disability Resource Center is joining with other community partners to establish the East Texas Community Living Network. This Network is an expanding collection of local resources to support persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities as valued members of our community to remain here in East Texas. Resources will include respite assistance, behavioral supports, person/family-centered healthcare providers and much more! The East Texas Community Living Network also recognizes the gifts and contributions that every citizen can make as we embrace a deeper understanding of “community”. For more information about this grant, please contact the ETxADRC office at 903-295-5922 or email us at Patti.Brady@CommunityHealthcore.com
